This Privacy Policy explains how Konnecta Team ("Konnecta", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Konnecta mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services").
The Services are intended for people aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at rsyvxvctax7180@outlook.com.
2) Information we collect
A. Information you provide
- Account information: name, username, email address.
- Customer support: the content of messages you send to us, and any information you choose to share.
- Morning reflections: text entries you create in the App (and any optional attachments you add).
B. Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, time zone, device identifiers (as provided by your device), and app version.
- Usage data: feature usage, screens viewed, and performance metrics.
- Crash and diagnostic data: crash logs and error reports.
C. Location (only if you allow)
If you enable location permissions, we may collect your precise or approximate location depending on the permission you grant and your device settings. You can disable location collection at any time in your device settings.
D. Cookies, similar technologies, and web beacons (where applicable)
If parts of the Services are delivered via web-based components (for example, embedded web views for sign-in or settings), we may use cookies or similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance.
E. Photos / face data (if you choose to use related features)
- No facial recognition / biometrics: we do not perform facial recognition and do not create biometric identifiers.
- One-time processing: if you upload an image for a feature, it is processed one time to produce the result you request.
- Deletion: uploaded images are deleted after processing as described in the retention section.
- Local by default: generated outputs are stored locally on your device unless you choose otherwise.
- No training / marketing use: we do not use photos for training, marketing, or advertising.
3) How we use information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including to:
- Operate accounts, login, and core functionality
- Personalize goals, badges, streaks, and achievement notifications
- Generate habit trend charts and progress visualizations
- Improve reliability, performance, and user experience (including debugging and analytics)
- Protect security, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms
- Respond to customer support requests
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
We do not sell your personal information.
4) Optional AI-assisted features (if enabled)
Konnecta may offer optional AI-assisted features (for example, generating or enhancing content you request). If you choose to use AI-assisted features:
- Processing location: any text or images you choose to upload for AI processing are processed on servers operated by Konnecta (our own servers).
- No third-party sharing: we do not share your AI inputs or AI outputs with any third parties.
- No training / marketing use: we do not use AI inputs/outputs to train models or for marketing/advertising.
- Deletion: AI inputs are deleted promptly after processing is completed, and you control whether to upload content or generate AI outputs.
If you do not use AI-assisted features, no AI processing of your content occurs.
5) Legal bases (for certain jurisdictions)
Where required by applicable law (such as the GDPR), we process personal information under one or more of these legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent (for optional features such as location, where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
7) International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms for cross-border transfers.
8) Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Account information: while your account is active.
- After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days (subject to legal/security needs).
- Usage data: up to 12 months.
- Support content: up to 6 months after the support case closes.
- AI processing inputs (if used): deleted promptly after processing completes.
- Uploaded photos/images (if used): deleted after one-time processing unless you choose otherwise.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate), access controls, periodic audits, and backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10) Your rights and choices

We will respond within 5 business days where feasible and as required by applicable law. We may verify your identity.
11) Do Not Track
Your device or browser may provide a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no consistent industry standard, the Services may not respond to Do Not Track signals in a uniform way.
12) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the App or by other reasonable means. The effective date above indicates when this policy takes effect.
13) Governing law and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, this Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the principal place of business of Konnecta Team. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration unless applicable law provides otherwise.
